Job Responsibilities
Team Management
Responsible for the administration, direction and coordination of assigned departmental activities
for the purpose of attaining patient satisfaction.
Conduct daily huddles, meetings with team members/assistants to discuss operating problems,
organization, budgetary matters, personnel matters, technical problems, and provide necessary
solution to issues.
Supervise immediate subordinates in their performance of assigned responsibilities, providing
advice, assistance and guidance as necessary.
Handles disciplinary problems of assigned staff.
Ensure all the team members are professionally dressed & conduct them in a professional manner.
Train, develop and motivate team member for a consistent performance.
Regular communication and information to team members of relevant business issues and their
impact on the organization.
Develop and ensure the implementation of staff training and development programs which provide
opportunities for individual employee growth, continuity of work flow during employee absence,
and long-range development of team members.
Ensure that the quality of work performed by subordinates/supervisors meets the Quality
standards.
Resolve problems, mediate conflicts encountered during daily operations, determine appropriate
solutions, and promote teamwork.
Conduct performance appraisals, maintain time and attendance records.
Financial Responsibilities
Management of Nonclinical services. Designing and implementation of overall business strategy
for running these departments.
Improving the revenue; lower costs while meeting standards, eliminate wastage and thus ensure
better profitability for these departments.
Set pricing and make changes in pricing decisions in conjunction with the Medical Director,
Finance Head and Marketing Head.
Inventory Management, wastage elimination by effective analysis and cost control.
Overseeing effective collection and analysis of Customer Feedback.
Management of all ‘strategic think tank’ meetings, e.g., Pricing Review, Sales & Marketing Review.
Process Responsibilities
Set up of sturdy work flow shift-wise for all departments to improve work processes and efficiency.
Liaise with departmental heads to reduce turnaround time for various reports as well as improving
efficiency of processes such as discharge and admission.
To ensure that the departmental safety standards/ protocols are strictly adhered to in areas under
direct responsibility, viz., lab and customer care.
Help to set up Hospital Safety Standards in conjunction with the Sr.Administration Manager and
Administrator.
Implementation, review and audit of Brand Service Standards.
Accreditation Responsibilities:
Designing and Implementation of structured processes and standards to achieve accreditation.
Conduct necessary awareness training for all departments.
Coordinate necessary document generation and collation from different department heads.
Review all departmental manuals to ensure that they are in line with the requirements
Set up, coordinate and activate various audit committees to test check processes.
Quality Assurance Responsibilities:
Ensure Implementation of structured Quality Assurance program to include Safety and Risk
Management aspects.
Ensure all emergency code plans are in place, effective training done and followed by conduct of
periodic mock drills.
Ensure effective data collection (including Quality Indicators), analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure audit process for all areas on a continuous basis.
Ensure effective reporting of incidents including Sentinel events; carry out appropriate analysis
and institute corrective and preventive actions.
Government Liaisoning:
To do Liaisoning with Statuary bodies for different License and certificates applicable.
Maintain healthy relations with government authorities
