Regional Operations Manager _ US Healthcare (Dental Operations)

About the Role

Hire Reactor is a US-based company with 21 years of experience in healthcare operations. We own and operate 3 dental hospitals with 16 branches across the USA. We manage operations directly, with no third-party client, outside stakeholder or staffing intermediary involved. Our teams in the USA, Mexico, the Philippines and India work together, with work allocated by team and function.

As Regional Operations Manager, you will take ownership of one region or one specific operations team within this network. We match your assignment to your experience and strengths, so you lead where you can have the most impact. You will be the link between your team and the wider operation, and you will step in hands-on to unblock work and resolve issues whenever your team needs it. You will be accountable for the operational and financial results of your area and will work directly with US leadership.

What You Will Own

Operations and RCM

• Lead day-to-day operations for your assigned region or operations team, including Team Leads and support staff
• Act as the connecting point between your team and operations leadership, passing priorities, feedback and roadblocks in both directions so issues are raised and resolved early
• Own the RCM cycle for your area: insurance verification, eligibility, prior authorization, claims submission, payment posting, denial management and AR follow-up
• Reduce AR days and denial rates while improving collection rate and First Pass Acceptance Rate (FPAR)
• Build workforce plans, staffing models and productivity standards for your teams
• Coordinate with teams in the USA, Mexico, the Philippines and India according to team allocation, with clear handoffs across time zones

Performance and Process

• Own the KPI dashboards for your area: FPAR, AR days, denial rate, collections, scheduling efficiency, case acceptance and SLA compliance
• Standardize SOPs and lead continuous-improvement and automation initiatives
• Present performance data and recommendations directly to US executives in weekly business reviews

Compliance and People

• Maintain HIPAA compliance, audit readiness and data privacy standards
• Recruit, coach and develop Team Leads and operations professionals, with succession plans and regular performance reviews

What Were Looking For (Must Have)

• 5 - 10 + years in dental operations, healthcare operations or US RCM
• Hands-on RCM expertise in claims, denials, AR, insurance verification and coding workflows
• Experience leading teams, ideally across multiple sites, including mentoring Team Leads or Operations Managers
• Clear, confident communication, written and spoken, to align teams, escalate effectively and present to US leadership
• A hands-on leadership style: you are ready to step into the work, troubleshoot and solve problems alongside your team when needed
• Strong data skills: advanced Excel and BI or reporting tools
• Willingness to work US night-shift hours(8:30 PM to 6:30 AM) from our Bengaluru office.

Good to Have

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
• Experience with Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft or similar practice management systems
• Power BI or Tableau exposure
• Experience working with offshore or distributed teams that support US operations
