Regional Operations Head Coastal Karnataka / North Karnataka
Location: Mangalore/ Hubali (Base Location)
Work Days: 6 days (WFO)

Role: The role will own the end-to-end P&L for the region while ensuring consistent execution of business strategies and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the complete P&L for the coastal Karnataka region.
• Lead operations for 56 - 80 supermarkets, delivering an annual business of approximately 130-190 Crore.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and productivity through strong operational execution.
• Ensure achievement of key business metrics including sales, EBITDA, shrinkage, inventory health, availability, and customer satisfaction.
• Improve store productivity through effective manpower planning, cost optimization, and process improvements.
• Drive merchandising execution, assortment compliance, pricing accuracy, and promotional effectiveness.
• Ensure superior customer experience by maintaining high standards of service, store hygiene, and visual merchandising.
• Build and develop high-performing Area Managers and Store Managers through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
• Monitor regional KPIs and initiate corrective actions to consistently achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Buying & Merchandising, HR, Finance, Marketing, and other support functions to improve business performance.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, statutory compliance, audit requirements, and loss prevention measures.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the region.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of experience in retail operations with a leading retail, grocery, QSR, or consumer business.
• Proven experience managing multi-store operations with ownership of regional P&L.
• Experience managing 40+ stores with annual business responsibility of 100 Crore or more will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of store operations, merchandising, inventory management, sales planning, and customer experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large cross-functional teams and deliver consistent business results.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• MBA or Postgraduate qualification from Tier 1-2 B-School Or BTech
