Job title: Regional Business Head

Location: Bangalore

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Take complete ownership and drive all business goals for growing Rupeek's gold loan branch business, aligning them with the organization's objectives.

- Lead and deliver on targets of branch expansion and manpower hiring.

- Lead and deliver on targets for new customer acquisition, repeat business, revenue, retention, risk management and profitability.

- Oversee the end-to-end execution and review process of the branch team, driving operational discipline and expanding offline customer acquisition channels.

- Derive valuable insights from the field, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate them into actionable business strategies to address operational challenges.

- Identify, manage and report operational risks across multiple geographies, working closely with relevant functions to develop mitigation measures through policy, process, and technology.

- Develop cost-effective customer engagement models and foster a culture of frugality within teams.

- Ensure high-quality operational experiences to protect the brand.

Org Building:

- Recruit and mentor city and branch leadership to enhance operational excellence.

- Coach, inspire, and lead the team towards success by providing regular feedback and training.

- Establish a culture of continuous improvement to drive reliability and exceptional customer experiences.

Strategy:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive business road map, creating action plans to achieve desired business goals.

- Build and diversify channels for business growth.

Desired Skill Set:

- Demonstrated sense of ownership, execution rigor, and design thinking.

- Ability to engage and influence individuals within the operations team and cross-functionally.

- Excellent people management skills for overseeing large teams.

- Proficiency in tactical and structural problem-solving approaches.

Persona Specification:

- 8-15 years of experience in operations & sales roles within Banks, NBFCs, telecom, or other consumer-facing industries.

- Leadership experience in gold loan businesses in BFSI would be highly preferred.

- Preferably holds an MBA or equivalent qualification.

- Proven track record of building and leading large teams (100+) across different geographies, showcasing exceptional execution capabilities.
