About this role
Role & responsibilities
Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including, invoices, statements, fixed assets an inventory etc. related to region
- Booking & Accounting of all Expenses including Rent, Electricity, Inventory and Capital expenditure etc. for the region on monthly basis. • Follow up for invoice, timely payments and assist in streamlining and improving the regional book closure process
- Prepare and maintain statutory books of accounts, ledgers and performing reconciliation on monthly & quarterly basis for the region and support head office in maintaining records for inventory & fixed asset register
- Comply with Income Tax Act, Goods and Service Tax Act, and local regulations
- E waybill generation for the Region
- Coordination with vendors to resolve GST / TDS related differences if any
- Maintain integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting
- Highlighting, Educating the team on Finance process at the Region.
- Vendor Reconciliation, Vendor Onboarding process
- Handling of vendor queries
- Visiting other Office locations in region once in a month.
- Control over Petty Cash of the Region and booking of petty cash expenses for the region
- Processing of Employee Reimbursements for the region , processing of all Demand Notes for new EB connection at region level.
Preferred candidate profile
• Bachelors degree in commerce with 5 years of experience
• Sound understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, tax and bookkeeping, MIS reporting system
• Experience with accounting software and online platforms
• Prior experience in accounts payable
• Good communication skills (especially regional languages) and project management skills
