Role Overview

This role sits within Risebird's Interview Process Outsourcing (IPO) model, distinct from a traditional RPO Recruitment Operations Manager role that centers on candidate sourcing and interview scheduling. Here, the core mandate is end-to-end ownership of the interview lifecycle itself — pre-interview, during-interview, and post-interview — across all interview formats: Human Expert interviews, AI Interviews, AI Code Interviews, and AI Phone Screens. The role carries full SPOC (Single Point of Contact) accountability for client communication, ownership of interviewer sourcing and panel management, interview drive delivery, and team leadership — with a strong emphasis on result ownership, for oneself and the team.

Key Responsibilities

Interview Lifecycle Management (Pre / During / Post-Interview)

• Distribute interview tasks across interviewers/channels (Human Expert, AI Interview, AI Code Interview, AI Phone Screen) based on skill mapping and capacity
• Own end-to-end scheduling coordination and QC of scheduled interviews — role-skill-interviewer mapping, slot accuracy, JD alignment, scorecard readiness
• Manage unassignment and rescheduling cases, and drive closure of Not Scheduled and Interview Status Pending backlogs
• Monitor live interview drives in real time; resolve scheduling, tech, and platform issues as they arise
• Drive timely feedback/scorecard collection, QC feedback quality, and support hiring-manager/client debriefs and decisions
• Track interviewer channel-level performance (TAT, quality, volume by channel) and interviewer trial quality for new panel members

Interview Drive & Delivery Execution

• Own end-to-end execution of large-scale interview drives with optimal resource allocation across interviewer bench vs demand
• Manage cross-format delivery (Human Expert / AI Interview / AI Code / AI Phone Screen) within a single drive, with contingency planning for high-volume/bulk hiring

Interviewer Sourcing & Panel Management

• Source, onboard, and train new interviewers to build and maintain bench strength
• Assess trial-period quality before full panel activation and plan ongoing panel capacity against demand

Client Servicing (IPO SPOC)

• Act as the single point of contact for client communication — the same client-facing ownership an RPO SPOC holds
• Drive client retention through consistent delivery, manage and resolve client escalations, and run SLA/contract governance and business reviews

Team Leadership

• Hire, train, and mentor the recruitment operations/coordination team
• Build a culture of accountability, instilling result ownership across the team — for individual KPIs as well as collective delivery

General Recruitment Operations Excellence

• Maintain SOPs, drive process audits and compliance, and own ATS/CRM/dashboard reporting
• Track cost-per-hire/interview, funnel conversion, and demand forecasting; drive automation and continuous process improvement

What We're Looking For

• 6-12 years of experience in Recruitment Operations, RPO, or Interview Operations, including team management
• Prior experience as an RPO SPOC, working closely with staffing agencies, is preferred
• Experience managing large-scale / high-volume hiring or interview operations is preferred
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills, with comfort owning escalations end-to-end
• Hands-on experience with ATS/CRM tools, scheduling systems, and reporting dashboards
• Demonstrated ownership mindset — driving outcomes proactively rather than reactively
• Exposure to AI-based interviewing/assessment platforms, video interviewing tools, or coding assessment platforms is a plus
