Recruiter

Role Overview : We are looking for a proactive and target-oriented HR Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment for our CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing) Centre. The role will focus on hiring Telecallers, CATI Interviewers and other operational staff to meet business requirements and ensure timely availability of manpower.

The ideal candidate should have experience in high-volume recruitment, preferably in a BPO, telecalling, contact centre or market research environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Recruitment

• Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to interview coordination, selection and joining.
• Recruit Telecallers, CATI Interviewers, Team Leaders and other operational positions as per approved manpower requirements.
• Ensure timely closure of vacancies in line with business targets and project timelines.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates to meet immediate and ongoing staffing requirements.

2. Candidate Sourcing and Screening

• Source candidates through job portals, employee referrals, social media, local recruitment networks, walk-ins and other relevant channels.
• Screen candidates for communication skills, language proficiency, basic computer knowledge, confidence and suitability for telephone-based research work.
• Coordinate interviews and assessments with Operations and hiring managers.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with selected candidates to minimise offer dropouts and ensure joining.

3. High-Volume and Local Hiring

• Plan and execute bulk hiring drives and walk-in interviews for the CATI Centre.
• Develop local sourcing channels to attract candidates for entry-level and voice-based roles.
• Work towards improving joining ratios and reducing recruitment turnaround time and cost.

4. Onboarding and Documentation

• Coordinate pre-joining formalities, document collection, background verification wherever applicable, and joining arrangements.
• Ensure completion of joining documentation and coordination with HR Operations.
• Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, candidate databases and hiring reports.

5. Stakeholder Management and Reporting

• Work closely with CATI Operations and Team Leaders to understand manpower requirements, hiring priorities and deployment timelines.
• Share regular updates on open positions, recruitment progress, joining status and hiring challenges.
• Monitor recruitment performance against agreed targets and recommend improvements to sourcing and selection processes.
• Qualifications and ExperienceGraduate in any discipline; HR specialisation preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in a BPO, call centre, telecalling or market research environment.
• Experience in high-volume hiring for entry-level and voice-based roles is desirable.
• Good communication, coordination, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable working with recruitment trackers, spreadsheets and job portals.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and work in a target-driven environment.
