Reconciliation Executive

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Perform regular ledger reconciliation and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
Reconcile bank statements with accounting records and investigate variances.
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and account balances.
Perform customer, vendor, and other account reconciliations as required.
Support month-end and period-end closing activities.
Prepare and maintain financial reports, reconciliation statements, and supporting schedules.
Identify accounting discrepancies, investigate root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.
Ensure financial transactions and records are complete, accurate, and properly documented.
Assist in improving reconciliation processes, accounting controls, and operational efficiency.
Maintain organized supporting documentation for audit and internal review purposes.
Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve accounting and reconciliation-related queries.
Ensure adherence to established accounting policies, procedures, and timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or reconciliation.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and ledger management.
Proven experience in ledger and bank reconciliations.
Working knowledge of financial reporting and month-end closing processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and reconciliation-
related analysis.

Experience with accounting software/ERP systems such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP,
Oracle, or similar platforms is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet reporting and reconciliation deadlines.
Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
