Reconciliation Associate

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records accurately and timely.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing relevant financial data.
• Coordinate with auditors during the audit process and address audit queries.
• Monitor and manage expense reports and petty cash transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial workflows and reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in accounting or finance, preferably in luxury goods or retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and external parties.
