Rebar Estimator

Responsibilities

• Review and validate quantity takeoffs produced by estimators.
• Independently estimate complex U.S. rebar projects.
• Allocate projects among estimating team members.
• Review drawings, specifications and addenda for scope changes.
• Validate tonnage and estimate completeness before submission.
• Identify assumptions, exclusions and RFIs.
• Monitor estimator productivity, accuracy and turnaround.
• Train junior/mid-level estimators.
• Maintain estimating standards, templates and checklists.
• Coordinate with U.S. stakeholders regarding priorities and clarifications.
• Support development of standardized and automated estimating processes.

Required Skills

• Extensive rebar estimating experience.
• U.S./North American project experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced Bluebeam/PlanSwift and Excel.
• Soule experience highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of reinforcing-steel fabrication terminology and practices.
• Familiarity with ACI/CRSI/ASTM.
• Team leadership and client communication skills.
