React Developer

Bounteous is looking for an experienced React Developer with hands-on exposure to Java-based backend systems to join our Bengaluru team. You will build high-performance, scalable web applications for global clients, working closely with designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver seamless digital experiences. This role suits someone who is strong on the front end and comfortable working across the stack when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

Build reusable components and front-end libraries for consistent, maintainable UI across projects.

Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and microservices built on Java/Spring Boot.

Contribute to backend development, including writing and debugging Java services, when project needs require it.

Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and designs into pixel-perfect interfaces.

Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions.

Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

Mentor junior developers and promote front-end best practices within the team.

Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

3-5 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3+ years in React.js.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Solid experience with state management tools such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or Zustand.

Hands-on experience with React Hooks, functional components, and modern React patterns.

Working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, including building or consuming REST APIs.

Understanding of microservices architecture and client-server communication.

Experience with front-end build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, Babel).

Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.

Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.

Excellent communication skills and experience working with distributed or client-facing teams.
