About this role
- Manage end-to-end depot operations , including receipt, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure timely and accurate order execution and delivery to customers/dealers.
- Plan and monitor primary and secondary transportation to optimize vehicle utilization, freight cost, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure optimum inventory levels and minimize stock ageing, shortages, damages, and excess inventory.
- Monitor depot MIS, logistics KPIs, freight costs, inventory accuracy, OTIF, and service levels .
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Plants, Finance, and Transporters for smooth operations.
- Manage and evaluate transporters, 3PL partners, and warehouse service providers .
- Drive logistics cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper documentation for dispatches, invoices, e-way bills, PODs, stock transfers, and transportation records .
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation with system inventory
