R2R Accountant 5-9 years

Key Responsibilities

1. General Ledger & Compliance

• Ensure GL entries and transactions comply with Group and local norms, function allocation rules, and standard processes.
  
• Maintain the quality and consistency of accounts within your remit.
  

2. Account Reconciliation & Justification

• Reconcile and justify accounts before reviewers, internal and external auditors, and internal controllers.
  
• Resolve open items and ensure balances are accurate and well supported.
  

3. Financial Close & Reporting

• Perform closing transactions, programs, and reporting in line with closing deadlines and expected quality.
  
• Support timely month-end and year-end close and financial statements.
  

4. Fixed Assets Accounting

• Handle capitalization, depreciation, and disposal entries for fixed assets.
  
• Ensure accurate asset records in line with Group accounting policies and local requirements.
  

5. Intercompany Accounting

• Record and reconcile intercompany sales, transfers, and eliminations.
  
• Resolve differences with counterparties to support accurate and timely consolidation across entities.
  

6. Cash & Bank Reconciliation

• Account for cash and bank transactions.
  
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
  
• Resolve outstanding reconciling items within closing deadlines.
