R&D Head

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the R&D function with a primary focus on waterproofing products, followed by construction chemicals.
• Develop and optimize formulations for waterproofing systems and construction chemical products.
• Drive new product development (NPD) from concept to commercialization.
• Improve existing products for enhanced performance, quality, and cost optimization.
• Conduct laboratory trials, testing, validation, and product performance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, quality norms, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Sales, and Technical teams for successful product launches and troubleshooting.
• Identify and evaluate new raw materials, technologies, and market trends.
• Manage the R&D team, allocate projects, and monitor performance and timelines.
• Prepare technical documentation, formulation records, test reports, and product specifications.
• Support customers and the technical team with product-related solutions and application guidance.
• Drive continuous innovation to strengthen the company's product portfolio and competitive advantage.
