R&D-Chennai (Thiruvallur Plant)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of new resin-based products aligned with market requirements and business strategy.

• Design, formulate, evaluate, and validate resin systems for construction chemical applications.
  Improve existing products for enhanced performance, durability, application properties, and customer satisfaction.
• Optimize formulations and raw materials to reduce cost without compromising quality or performance.
  Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, batch consistency, quality, and efficiency.
• Establish and standardize critical process parameters and controls.
• Execute Stage-Gate NPD activities, including project planning, laboratory trials, pilot trials, and commercial validation.
• Coordinate with Product Management, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Marketing for timely commercialization.
• Lead technical investigations, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and CAPA for resin-related complaints.
• Implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  Provide technical support for production trials, process validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to all Weber Plants.
