R&D and Technology Transfer Chemist

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development activities to design, develop, and optimize chemical processes for API manufacturing.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and implement changes.
  
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to process development, validation, and scale-up.
  
• Troubleshoot issues during production runs and provide solutions to resolve problems efficiently.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by implementing cGMP guidelines.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2-7 years of experience in R&D or technology transfer roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
  
• Strong understanding of organic chemistry principles, analytical techniques (HPLC/GC), and chemical synthesis methods.
  
• Experience working on API manufacturing projects from early stages through commercialization.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (B.Sc) or Master's degree (MSc Chemistry/Organic Chemistry).
  
• Proficiency in using software tools such as Aspen Plus for process simulation.
