About the Role

GlobalBees is looking for a highly analytical and growth-driven Category person to manage category performance across e-commerce marketplaces, quick commerce platforms, and D2C channels. The role requires someone who can leverage data, understand market dynamics, and drive strategic initiatives to accelerate category growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage category performance, revenue targets, and growth metrics across marketplaces and quick commerce platforms.
• Conduct sales analysis, demand forecasting, and performance tracking to identify growth opportunities and gaps.
• Perform market and competitor benchmarking to drive pricing, assortment, and promotional strategies.
• Lead and support new product launches across multiple channels including marketplaces and D2C platforms.
• Analyse data across eCommerce, quick commerce, and D2C channels to drive business decisions and growth strategies.
• Manage multiple sales channels simultaneously and identify areas for operational and commercial improvement.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, operations, and brand teams) to execute category initiatives.
• Drive new initiatives, experiments, and business improvements to scale category performance.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in category management, business management, or growth roles.
• Experience in eCommerce and/or quick commerce ecosystems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and analytics tools.
• Solid understanding of demand forecasting, sales analysis, pricing strategies, and market trends.
• D2C experience will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across teams.
