Designation: Quantity Assessment

Role & responsibilities : Reviewing project documentation: This includes studying architectural and engineering project

• Quantity takeoff: Performing detailed measurements and calculations to determine the quantities of materials needed for the project. This may involve using specialized software or manual methods.
• Documentation and reporting: Maintaining accurate records of quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid submissions. Generating reports and presenting findings to project stakeholders, including management, clients, and contractors.

Qualifications and skills required for a quantity assessment role may include:

• A degree in civil engineering, interiors or architecture, construction management, or a related field.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in excel, quantity takeoff software and tools.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost factors.
• Knowledge of reading permit set drawing and getting details.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
• Experience in bid preparation and cost estimation is highly desirable.
