Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Head Office
Industry: Infrastructure / Construction
Experience: 0-3 Years
Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on drawings and specifications.
• Handle preparation and verification of RA bills (Running Account Bills) and final bills.
• Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Conduct rate analysis for various construction activities.
• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and track variations and extra items.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and procurement teams.
• Evaluate subcontractor bills and certify payments.
• Maintain proper documentation for contracts, bills, and cost reports.
• Assist in tendering process including cost estimation and bid preparation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying and cost control techniques
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software
• Good understanding of BOQ preparation and rate analysis
• Familiarity with contracts, tendering, and billing procedures
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in infrastructure projects such as roads, highways, airports.
• Knowledge of FIDIC or other standard contract conditions (added advantage)
• Experience in handling subcontractor billing and client billing
