Quantity Surveyor - Electrical

Role Overview

Nirmaan is looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Quantity Estimation Engineer with a strong design background to support accurate quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation for commercial MEP fitout projects. The ideal candidate should possess technical understanding of drawings and specifications, ensuring precision in estimation and project costing.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare quantity take-offs from design drawings and specifications

Develop and review BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for electrical works of fitouts

Analyze electrical drawings for estimation accuracy

Coordinate with design and project teams to validate quantities and scope

Assist in cost estimation, rate analysis, and budget preparation

Identify scope gaps, variations, and cost-saving opportunities

Support tendering and procurement teams with technical quantity inputs

Maintain estimation records and documentation as per company standards

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Strong understanding of electrical drawings and systems

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel (mandatory)

Knowledge of commercial projects is preferred

Strong analytical and numerical skills

Good coordination and communication abilities
