Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer with a strong background in residential construction projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both Mivan and conventional construction methods, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout all stages of construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control procedures at residential construction sites.
• Conduct inspections for Mivan formwork, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing activities.
• Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, technical specifications, project standards, and quality requirements.
• Inspect incoming construction materials and coordinate material testing as per project specifications.
• Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality checklists, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality-related issues.
• Identify non-conformities and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure adherence to approved construction methods and quality standards.
• Maintain records of site inspections, concrete test results, material test reports, and other quality documents.
• Conduct regular site quality audits and ensure closure of observations within stipulated timelines.
• Ensure quality compliance at every stage of residential construction, from structural work to final finishing.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to minimize defects and maintain high construction quality.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 6–13 years of relevant experience in QA/QC within the real estate or construction industry.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in Mivan and conventional construction methods.
• Strong experience in residential construction projects, preferably high-rise residential developments.
• Good knowledge of concrete technology, reinforcement, formwork, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Familiarity with quality documentation, inspection procedures, material testing, and construction standards.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Strong site coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidates: Professionals with experience in high-rise residential projects in Panvel, Navi Mumbai, or Mumbai will be preferred.
