Quantity Survey Engineer Mechanical Piping

Role & responsibilities

• Calculation, updating, and reporting of project quantities based on IFC, As-Built, Isometric drawings
• Review, verify, and update actual and to go (remaining) quantities in forecast studies.
• Identify and analyze discrepancies between budgeted quantities and performed site works.
• Report daily achieved quantities to Project Control Department.
• Coordinate with all disciplines to obtain accurate quantity information.
• Prepare and provide detailed supporting calculations and documentation for Variations and Change Orders.
• Verify and control subcontractor executed quantities and ensure alignment with the invoicing process.
• Analyze offers and participate in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist tender documents and prepare BoQs for subcontractors.
• Advise Project Control Department on the cost impact of design changes.
• Support Procurement Department and monitor Purchase Orders in accordance with updated quantities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduates of Mechanical from Faculties of Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Oil & Gs or industrial projects
• Experienced in Quantity Surveying
