About this role
We're Hiring | Quality Manager Railway / Metro Track Projects
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and quality control activities for our Railway and Metro Track Infrastructure Projects.
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
Experience: 10Years (Railway/Metro Track Projects)
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, inspection plans, and quality procedures for track works, including ballastless track, ballasted track, welding, and associated civil works.
Prepare and review Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and quality documentation.
Monitor site quality activities and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to approved procedures and standards.
Manage material approvals, testing activities, calibration records, and quality certifications.
Investigate non-conformities, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure timely closure.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Management for Railway, Metro, Track, or Large Infrastructure Projects.
Strong knowledge of railway/metro track construction standards, quality procedures, inspection protocols, and testing requirements.
Certification in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor) will be an added advantage.
