Quality Manager- Tiruppur (Factory experience is must) 8-12 years

Job Summary Responsible for ensuring garment quality from product development through final shipment by implementing quality standards, conducting inspections, resolving quality issues, and coordinating with internal teams and factories to achieve customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tech packs, specifications, and construction details before production.
• Conduct fit sample, PP (Pre-Production), size set, and TOP (Top of Production) sample reviews.
• Wash process understanding and shade band review in denim.
• Should be aware of testing parameter both fabric/garment (FPT & GPT)
• Ensure all PP comments are implemented in bulk production.
• Monitor production quality and ensure compliance with approved standards.
• Perform in-line and final inspections as per AQL requirements.
• Identify quality defects, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with merchandising, design, technical, and production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure measurements, workmanship, fit, appearance, and trims meet specifications.
• Prepare and maintain QA reports, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
• Train factory quality teams on standards, SOPs, and best practices.
• Drive continuous quality improvement and reduce customer returns.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and sewing techniques.
• Good understanding of fit, measurements, grading, and pattern evaluation.
• Knowledge of AQL inspection systems and quality tools.
• Ability to identify defects and provide practical solutions.
• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and quality documentation.
