Quality Manager/QMS/MR

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) across the organization.
• Act as Management Representative (MR) and ensure effective implementation and maintenance of the QMS.
• Deep knowledge of international standards like ISO 9001/ API SPEC Q1/ Q2/QMS/MARINE/EHS/OHASAS OIL & GAS/API 6A and industry-specific regulations
• Plan and conduct internal audits, process audits and system audits.
• Coordinate customer, certification and third-party audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Monitor and drive NCR, CAPA, 8D, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Establish and monitor quality objectives, KPIs and improvement plans.
• Ensure proper document control, records control and QMS documentation.
• Monitor incoming, in-process and final inspection systems and quality standards.
• Drive customer complaint analysis, corrective action and customer satisfaction improvement.
• Coordinate with Production, NPD, PPC, Foundry, Tool Room and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure effective implementation of control plans, FMEA, inspection standards and process controls.
• Lead continuous improvement, defect reduction and process capability improvement initiatives.
• Conduct quality awareness and QMS training for employees.
• Review quality performance with management and prepare management review inputs and reports.
• Develop and lead the Quality team, ensuring competency and effective performance.

Beyond just supervising, you must inspire teams, staff, and foster a "quality-first" culture throughout the organization.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

• BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Production or relevant Engineering field.
• 812+ years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in Investment Casting / Foundry Industry.
• Strong experience in QMS implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 and applicable customer-specific requirements.
• Proven experience as Management Representative (MR) for QMS.
• Strong knowledge of Internal Audits, Process Audits, Customer Audits & Certification Audits.
• Hands-on experience in NCR, CAPA, 8D, RCA, FMEA, Control Plan & SPC.
• Good understanding of Investment Casting processes, inspection methods and quality control.
• Experience in handling customer complaints, quality issues and corrective actions.
• Strong knowledge of quality documentation, document control and QMS records.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead and develop a Quality & QMS team.
• Result-oriented approach with strong focus on quality, customer satisfaction and continual improvement.
