Roles & Responsibility

1. Reading and understanding engineering drawings.
2. Identifying the correct part number and drawing revision.
3. Checking material grade and supplier batch/lot details.
4. Performing visual inspection.
5. Measuring critical dimensions correctly.
6. Using calibrated measuring instruments.
7. Following the approved sampling plan.
8. Recording inspection results accurately.
9. Identifying and segregating nonconforming materials.
10. Maintaining material traceability.
11. Escalating critical/major defects to the Quality Engineer/Supervisor.
12. Understanding the applicable Control Plan and inspection specifications.
