Quality Inspector

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality inspection of all manufacturing components using measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and surface testers.
• Operate and program CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for precision inspections.
• Prepare and maintain PPAP documentation including Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, and FMEAs.
• Conduct dock audits before shipment to ensure product compliance with customer requirements.
• Perform supplier visits for supplier quality inspections and supplier quality audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection instruments.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
• Support customer audits and provide necessary quality-related documentation.
• Continuously improve quality processes and systems to enhance product quality.
• Proactively work on preventive measures to make the component development first time right.
