Quality Inspector

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspection of incoming, in-process, and finished parts/products.
• Supplier evaluation and vendor visit for inspection
• Verify components and assemblies against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• NPD part ballooning, checklist preparation, identify CTQ parameters, inspection and feed back
• Knowledge on CMM inspection is added advantage
• Prepare and maintain inspection records, reports, and documentation.
• Conduct in-process inspections at various stages of production.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming materials, and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as required.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Assist in maintaining 5S and quality system compliance (ISO/IATF standards).
• Communicate effectively with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement and Kaizen activities

Preferred Skills

• Good knowledge of measurement instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, etc.).
• Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
