Quality Incharge

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day quality inspection and control activities at the plant.
• Inspect raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Monitor production quality parameters and ensure product specifications are maintained.
• Identify defects, rejection, and quality deviations and coordinate corrective actions.
• Work closely with the Production team to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain inspection reports, test reports, rejection/rework records, and quality documentation.
• Conduct basic Root Cause Analysis and CAPA for recurring quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and customer specifications.
• Supervise and guide quality inspectors/helpers.
• Support customer complaints, audits, and continuous quality improvement.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in Steel / Metal Manufacturing Quality.
• Good knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques.
• Basic knowledge of RCA, CAPA, 5 Why, and quality documentation.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working on the shop floor.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality reporting.
