Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Must have skills : Selenium

Good to have skills : PostgreSQL, Unix Shell Scripting, Python (Programming Language)

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes defining and applying testing methodologies and processes, monitoring key performance indicators related to test execution and defect management, and fostering collaboration across teams to maintain consistent quality outcomes.

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes to support evolving project needs.
• Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their skills and professional growth.
• Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives and deliverables.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with PostgreSQL, Python (Programming Language), Unix Shell Scripting.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools related to Selenium.
• Ability to design and implement scalable test automation solutions.
• Experience in integrating automated tests within continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools to monitor and report testing progress.
