Quality Engineer

Project Role : Quality Engineer Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. Summary: As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves coordinating with diverse teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of comprehensive solutions. The role includes planning across multiple disciplines to enhance the application lifecycle, focusing on accelerating delivery timelines while maintaining high standards of quality. Daily activities encompass continuous testing efforts, including security and regression testing, alongside developing and implementing automation strategies. The position also involves supporting data and environment configurations, actively participating in code reviews, and tracking issues to foster ongoing improvements in testing processes, ensuring robust and reliable software outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to define and implement testing strategies that align with project goals and quality standards.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.
• Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issues.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Warehouse ETL Testing.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting languages relevant to ETL processes.
• Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans for data validation and integrity.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
• Ability to analyze complex data flows and troubleshoot issues within data warehouse environments.
• Skilled in monitoring test results, defect tracking, and reporting to drive quality improvements.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Warehouse ETL Testing.
• This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
