Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections and routine testing of LT, HT and MV electrical control panels.
• Perform inspection and testing of PCC, MCC, IMCC, APFC, VFD, PLC and other control panels.
• Verify panel wiring, component mounting, busbar installation, cable termination, ferruling and workmanship.
• Carry out electrical tests such as insulation resistance (IR), continuity, earth continuity and high-voltage withstand tests, as applicable.
• Verify control circuit operation, electrical interlocks, protection schemes, metering, indications and functional logic.
• Conduct functional testing of MCC feeders, motor starters, VFD panels, APFC panels and PLC-based control panels.
• Review approved GA drawings, SLDs, schematics, BOMs and customer specifications during inspection.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, routine test reports, FAT documents and quality checklists.
• Coordinate with the design, production and project teams to resolve quality issues and technical non-conformities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IEC standards, approved drawings and customer quality requirements.
• Participate in customer inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Identify defects, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure quality before dispatch.
