Quality Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of incoming materials, including sheet metal components, to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform in-process checks on mechanical parts to identify defects or deviations from standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions for non-conforming products.
• Develop and maintain documentation of quality control procedures, test plans, and reports.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 standards by conducting regular audits and monitoring processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Engineering role, preferably in the auto components industry.
• Diploma/B.Tech / B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, particularly related to sheet metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in using tools such as CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for dimensional analysis.
