Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Derive SOPs and Control Plans (CP) for the entire BESS manufacturing process.
• Ensure incoming material quality meets specifications and provide quality clearance to Stores through GRIN/vendor quality approvals (SQPR).
• Support vendors in achieving quality standards through vendor development and quality rating initiatives.
• Monitor DPPM across all sections and implement CAPA based on severity levels.
• Ensure 100% adherence to Control Plans and SOPs at all CTQ stations.
• Implement ECR/ECN changes for process and product updates.
• Develop DFMEA for CTQ stations.
• Capture and control end-to-end rejection levels within management targets.
• Develop SOPs for rework stations.
• Develop SOPs for material handling systems in accordance with MSDS requirements.
• Prepare and deploy inspection plans for incoming inspection and PDI activities.
• Ensure implementation of SPC practices (Cp, Cpk) on the shop floor.
• Ensure timely calibration of machinery and testing instruments impacting quality standards.
• Drive ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 45001 certification programs.
• Conduct R&R studies and ensure effective implementation.
• Receive and address VOC (Voice of Customer) feedback with appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare departmental MIS reports.
• Ensure the effectiveness of Poka-Yoke and Kaizen initiatives.Role & responsibilities
