Role & responsibilities

• Inspection of incoming materials and stage inspection for manufactured equipment at all stages
• Witnessing WPS, PQR and approval of welders
• Preparation of QA procedures including NDE, testing procedure, specific ITP
• Co-ordinating with third party inspection agencies for inspection & approvals
• Conduct stage inspection like fitup/ tack weld/ assembly/ welding/ NDT, leak test in shop
• Coordinate with respective departments for day-to-day inspection calls
• Responsible for ASME documentation and audits
• Blasting and Painting Inspection
• Responsible for quality dossier preparation, submission and approval from client

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelors or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with ASNT NDT level II certification
• Experience: 5 to 7 years in pressure vessel, tank fabrication, or heavy steel structural fabrication.
• Proficiency in understanding ASME Section VIII, API 650/620, and Indian Standards (IS)
