Quality Engineer

1. Quality Control & Inspection

• Monitor the quality of moulded components during production.
• Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Ensure products comply with customer drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Check critical dimensions, appearance, weight, fitment, and functional requirements.
• Identify and segregate defective or non-conforming parts.

2. Moulding Process Quality

• Monitor moulding process parameters such as temperature, pressure, speed, cooling time, and cycle time.
• Ensure approved process parameters are followed consistently.
• Identify process-related defects and support corrective actions.
• Monitor mould condition and coordinate with Production/Maintenance for mould-related issues.
• Reduce rejection, rework, and process variation.

3. Defect Analysis & Corrective Action

• Analyze moulding defects such as:
• Short moulding
• Flash
• Sink marks
• Warpage
• Weld lines
• Burn marks
• Flow marks
• Dimensional variation
• Colour/appearance defects
