Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive test strategy covering offline/online workflows, data synchronization, and hardware integration scenarios.
• Define test coverage across both the on-device application layer and backend AWS services.
• Build, enhance, and own scalable test automation frameworks beyond basic record-and-playback scripts.
• Develop and maintain UI automation using Selenium WebDriver and API automation/testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
• Identify quality risks, coverage gaps, and critical edge cases, and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Mentor QE team members and coordinate test cycles with developers and technical leads.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 3-9 years of experience in Quality Engineering / Software Testing / Test Automation.
• Strong understanding of test strategy, test planning, and test architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and UI automation.
• Experience with API testing/automation using Postman or equivalent tools.
• Experience building or owning automation frameworks.
• Experience testing distributed systems, offline-first applications, or applications with online/offline synchronization.
• Good understanding of AWS-backed applications/services and end-to-end test coverage.
