Job Description Quality Engineer

Job Location: Vemagal, Karnataka

Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 2 -7 Years

Employment Type: Contractual (Third-Party Payroll)

Job Responsibilities

- Perform in-process quality inspections of components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies.

- Inspect components as per engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

- Conduct machine shop inspections and verify component dimensions.

- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.

- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards and work instructions.

- Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues.

- Knowledge of materials, heat treatment, special processes, and NDT techniques will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

- Experience in quality assurance (QA) and in-process inspection.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensional tolerances.

- Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection techniques.

- Experience in manufacturing industries; aerospace or defence industry experience is preferred.

- Good observation, documentation, and communication skills.
