Quality Engineer /AM Quality at Khed Shivapur- Pune

Role & responsibilities

Inspect and record products during in-process and final inspection as per the Quality Plan.

1. Record all types of product non-conformities and prepare top defect data for analysis.
2. Release products for the next stage of operation after inspection and sign the route card.
3. Conduct thorough incoming inspections of materials and components to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
4. Ensure availability of status tags and route cards for all operational stages.
5. Verify samples and perform destructive testing for critical processes such as moulding, die casting, and spot welding.
6. Ensure availability of gauges, instruments, and fitting profiles as per product requirements.
7. Manage and maintain quality control documentation, ensuring all records and reports are accurate and up to date.
8. Participate in root cause analysis to identify causes of complaints, implement corrective and preventive actions, and deploy actions horizontally to avoid recurrence of similar issues.
9. Submit daily quality performance reports to the reporting manager and top management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Good knowledge of quality inspection processes and documentation
• Understanding of mechanical drawings and measuring instruments
• Experience in handling non-conformities and corrective actions
• Knowledge of quality tools and root cause analysis
