Quality Engineer (5 Nos)-DLF Project

Job Summary

Purpose of Position. Manage the financial aspects of a construction project, from start to finish. They are responsible for ensuring that projects meet legal and quality standards, and are completed within budget and schedule. The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group Policies.

Major Responsibilities

• Support other quality personnel in monitoring Contractor's work execution during the construction phase.
• Read, understand, and implement the Company's Integrated Management Systems and policies as described in the project specific Quality Management Plan and Inspection and Test Plan.
• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Perform basic quality control inspections of materials and workmanship.
• Identify and report any safety hazards or discrepancies to the Resident Engineer.
• Assist with surveying and setting out structures.
• Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
• Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
• Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
• Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

Qualification and Experience

• Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum experience of 12 to 15 years in commercial and residential construction projects.
• Successfully carrying out a project work under Central Government consultancies & Policies.
