About this role
Role & responsibilities
- Factory Visit as per requirement to check quality/repairs. Detail Quality check as per check list & designs.
- Inspections and Testing: Perform visual and mechanical inspections on raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods.
- Product design understanding & Adherence to Standards: Read and interpret technical drawings, and specifications to verify that products match intended designs. Quality details inspections as per drawings/requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain precise records of all inspection findings, test results, and non-conformances for audit and traceability purposes.
- Issue Escalation: Identify defects and notify supervisors or production teams; trigger containment actions to isolate non-conforming items.
- Process Improvement: Recommend adjustments to production workflows to prevent recurring issues.
- PO generation for vendors/ Follow up with vendors/ New vendors factory visits/ Maintaining Payments records of vendors.
