Quality Control Lead - Bonthapally, Hyderabad

JOB DESCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Quality Control Operations & Testing

1. Plan and monitor testing of raw materials, packing materials, intermediates and finished products.
2. Review analytical data, test reports and Certificates of Analysis (COA), and approve or reject materials and products as per authorised procedures.
3. Ensure proper sampling, material identification, storage conditions and product labelling.

2. Quality Systems & Compliance

1. Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
2. Review and approve SOPs, specifications, analytical methods and QC documentation.
3. Ensure compliance with data integrity requirements, audit trails and statutory record maintenance.

3. Equipment, Validation & Quality Investigations

1. Ensure qualification, calibration and maintenance of QC instruments, equipment and laboratory facilities.
2. Review and monitor analytical method validation, method transfer, stability studies and hold-time studies.
3. Investigate deviations, incidents, OOS results, customer complaints and returned materials, and ensure CAPA implementation.
4. Review change controls, impact assessments and validation documents.

4. Team Management & Coordination

1. Allocate work, monitor daily activities and ensure timely completion of QC testing and reporting.
2. Plan and conduct employee training, guide subordinates and evaluate team performance.
3. Coordinate with QA, R&D, Pilot Plant, Production and Regulatory Affairs for quality-related activities and product registration documentation.
4. Participate in internal audits, self-inspections and technical audits, and implement applicable corrective actions.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY

To perform any other quality-related duties assigned by the management in accordance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements.
