JOB DESCRIPTION :

Designation: Quality & Process Control Representative (OPC)

Location: OPC Quality & Process Control

Reporting To Pan India Quality In-Charge

Locations: Amta(Howrah), Jalpaiguri, Asansol & Guwahati

Role Overview :

The Off-Role Representative will be stationed at the vendor (OPC) site to ensure strict control over raw material, packing material, process, tokens and finished goods, in line with approved specifications and recipes.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Raw Material & Packing Material Control

• Allow lot receipt only after vendor quality clearance; verify at site.

• Check testing as per specifications, latest artwork and sampling plan. • Record all rejections and ensure rejected material is not used in production.

• Control premix addition and measurement as per approved recipe.

2. Token Control

• Reconcile tokens issued for activation against FG dispatches monthly. • Report any theft of activated tokens immediately, along with Carton ID. • Verify the vendor's token register (issued vs. dispatched) and report findings.

3. Process Control

• Ensure recipe adherence and batch sheet management, including batch charging monitoring.

• Verify and record 100% of batch charging in the system with time stamp; ensure weighment slip sticker is on the batch sheet.

• Ensure 100% premix quantity is added as per recipe.

• Check calibration of lab equipment and report abnormalities.

• Verify the vendor's daily filling weight sampling.

4. Finished Goods (FG) Testing

• Verify FG release by OPC as per specification and record every batch.

• Upload application videos of 3 batches daily.

• Dispatch one sample monthly to the mapped local unit for cross verification.

Governance & Reporting

• Report daily through the mobile-based application (used by Sales Officers in Retail) with geo-tagging.

• Escalate critical observations and abnormalities to the OPC Head.

• Facilitate quarterly audits through the mobile app.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate / Diploma in Science, Chemistry or a related field.

• Min 2 years of experience in quality control, manufacturing or vendor/plant audit.

• Good knowledge of documentation, sampling and testing processes. • Comfortable using mobile applications; strong integrity and attention to detail.

• Willing to work at vendor sites and report daily.
