Quality Control Engineer

Role & responsibilities :

• Handle export customer complaints related to industrial valves and automation products.
• Coordinate with international customers to understand technical issues and provide appropriate solutions.
• Investigate complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of industrial valves and automation systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, operational, and performance-related issues in valves and recommend corrective actions.
• Attend customer sites for inspection, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and commissioning activities as required.
• Conduct valve inspection and testing as per technical specifications and quality standards.
• Review inspection reports, test certificates, and quality documents.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, Engineering, Project, and Service departments for complaint resolution.
• Follow up on corrective actions and provide technical feedback to prevent recurrence of complaints.
• Prepare and maintain customer complaint reports, inspection reports, service reports, and technical documentation.
• Maintain complaint trackers, quality records, and regular MIS using MS Excel and Microsoft Office
• Willingness to travel to customer sites whenever required.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Candidates residing in Kalyan, Thane, or along the Central Railway line will be preferred.
• Experience in export customer complaints, international customer support, or field servicing will be an advantage.
• Candidates should be comfortable with hands-on valve and automation repair work at customer sites.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Microsoft Office.
