Quality Control Assistant

1. Inward Quality Inspection

• Inspect incoming raw materials, components, and bought-out parts as per purchase orders, drawings, and specifications.
• Verify material dimensions, visual appearance, quantity, and identification.
• Identify and segregate accepted, rejected, and doubtful materials.

2. Measuring Instruments and Gauges

• Measure components using vernier calipers, outside micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Use plug gauges, ring gauges, thread gauges, height gauges, and other applicable inspection gauges.

3. Quality Documentation

• Maintain inward inspection reports and incoming material inspection records.
• Record actual measured dimensions and compare them with specified tolerances.
• Maintain records of accepted, rejected, and non-conforming materials.
