Quality Assurance Tester

Highlight of the engagement opportunity

• Nature of role: Full time
• Number of years of experience expected: 1 - 3 years
• Areas of past experience preferred: QA testing, Quality Management in BFSI domain
• Educational qualification expected: Graduate/ Pursuing graduation
• Additional qualifications/ certifications required: Quality assurance certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA, etc.).
• Preferred geography of previous work experience: India / Europe / APAC / US
• Language requirements: Ability to write and speak fluently in English
• Application experience: MS Excel, Selenium, Testing tools.
• Application experience good to have: Azure DevOps, Jira, Selenium.

Key responsibility areas:

• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Ensuring quality of software products by creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test plans based on project specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to understand product functionality and identify potential edge cases.
• Executing and maintain test suites ensuring coverage of all identifies test scenarios.
• Conduct both manual and automated tests to validate software functionality, reliability and performance.
• Identify, document, and report bugs, errors and inconsistencies in software applications using bug tracking tools.
• Ensuring timely bug fixes and issue resolution by closely working with development teams.
• Implement and maintain high-quality metrics to measure and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed insights to improve product quality.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality assurance process.
• Hands-on with Web application testing / API based testing approaches.

Other important information:

• Work permit requirements: Either Indian Citizen or having valid work permit to work in India
• Period of engagement: Full-time position
• Probation period: 6 months
• Compensation: Compensation varies depending on the skill, fitment and role played by the person. Compensation discussions will take place post the selection process.
• Performance incentives: Typically, all roles at Acies have a performance incentive. Specific aspects will be discussed during the compensation discussion
• Leave: 22 working days a year. Additional leaves for national holidays, sick leaves, maternity and paternity, bereavement and studies vary based on the city and country of engagement.

• Interview: There are expected to be 3 rounds of interviews. The number of interview rounds may increase depending on the criticality and seniority of the role involved.
