Quality Assurance Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SQA Lead to oversee the testing and quality assurance

processes for our software products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on

experience in manual and automated testing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to

lead a small QA team to ensure product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the QA team through the entire testing lifecycle from planning

and execution to reporting and closure.

* Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts

for web, mobile, and API-based applications.

* Coordinate with development and product teams to identify and resolve

defects early in the cycle.

* Implement and manage automation frameworks using tools such as

Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent.

* Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing.

* Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure

DevOps.

* Define and monitor QA metrics to ensure continuous improvement in

product quality.

* Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in testing and

quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

* 4–5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 1–2 years in a

lead role.

* Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.

* Hands-on experience in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG,

Cypress, Postman).

* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git,

Jenkins, etc.).

* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

* Experience with API testing using Postman or REST Assured.

* Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

* Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

* ISTQB or equivalent certification
