Quality Assurance Manager

Role Description The Quality Assurance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. This role is responsible for overseeing quality control processes across the production cycle, including fabric inspection, in-line and final garment checks, and adherence to buyer specifications and internal standards. The manager will develop and implement QA procedures, coordinate with production, merchandising, and sourcing teams, and lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for defects or non-conformities. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring quality metrics, auditing factories and subcontractors, training QA and production staff on quality requirements, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety, regulatory, and brand guidelines. The role also involves preparing quality reports for management and international clients, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating closely with external buyers and inspection agencies.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in garment quality assurance, including fabric testing, pattern and fit checks, in-line and final inspections, and quality audit procedures.
• Experience in apparel manufacturing environments with export-focused production, preferably working with international brands and large-scale order volumes.
• Proficiency in developing and documenting QA systems, SOPs, quality standards, and corrective/preventive action plans.
• Ability to analyze quality data, track KPIs, identify trends, and implement process improvements to reduce defects and rework.
• Solid knowledge of compliance requirements, safety standards, and buyer-specific quality protocols in the fashion and textile industry.
• Strong leadership skills to manage QA teams, train staff, and collaborate effectively with production, merchandising, and sourcing functions.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, including clear documentation, coordination with international clients, and problem-solving under tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in textiles, apparel production, quality management, or a related field; advanced certifications in quality (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma) are an advantage.
• Proven ability to work on-site in a high-volume manufacturing setup in Jaipur and adapt to dynamic production schedules.
