Position: QA Manager, reporting to Factory Head

Quality Assurance (QA) Manager for a leading Servo stabilizer and UPS manufacturing environment. The role bridges rigorous electronic engineering standards with global management frameworks to ensure zero-defect product delivery.

Profile Summary

Result-oriented and technically proficient Quality Assurance Manager with over 10 years of hands-on experience in the power electronics manufacturing or any Engineering sector.

Proven track record of establishing robust quality management systems, reducing cost of poor quality (COPQ), and leading cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence. Expert in navigating and auditing integrated management systems covering ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001

Core Competencies & Technical Skills

* Product Expertise: Single-phase/Three-phase UPS systems, Line-interactive & Online double-conversion UPS, Servo voltage stabilizers, Static stabilizers, and Inverters.

* Testing & Compliance: Expertise in component-level testing, PCB assemblies (PCBA), high-voltage isolation tests, thermal imaging, burn-in testing, and battery management system (BMS) validation.

* Standards Mastery:

* ISO 9001 (Quality): Quality manual design, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action), FMEA, Six Sigma methodologies, and Vendor Quality Assurance (VQA).

* ISO 14001 (Environment): Electronic waste management, RoHS/REACH compliance, energy-efficiency monitoring, and sustainable manufacturing workflows.

* ISO 45001 (Health, Safety & Security Excellence): Implementation of electrical safety protocols, high-voltage hazard prevention, and compliance with specialized management frameworks.

* Tools & Frameworks: Statistical Process Control (SPC), 8D Problem Solving, 5S, Kaizen, and ERP/QMS software

Key Responsibilities

* Integrated Management Systems (IMS): Oversee, maintain, and continuously audit the company's integrated ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards across assembly, testing, and dispatch phases.

* Incoming, In-Process & Final Quality Control: Implement stringent testing protocols for critical incoming components (boards, IGBTs, motors, Variances etc.) and final product staging (load-bank testing, efficiency validation).

* Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations into field failures or line defects using 8D and Fishbone methodologies to implement permanent corrective actions.

* Supplier Quality Management: Conduct technical audits of vendor facilities to ensure component reliability and alignment with environmental (RoHS) standards.

* Regulatory Liaison: Ensure all product lines comply with national and international electrical safety certifications (e.g., CE, UL, BIS, IEC standards) and liaise with external auditors and Customers for on-site QC of products

Qualifications & Certifications

* Education: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
