Quality Assurance Executive

Job Purpose:

To ensure the highest standards of quality assurance for Aluminium Rod manufacturing by conducting timely testing, maintaining compliance with customer, statutory, and IS requirements, facilitating smooth customer and third-party inspections, implementing corrective actions based on customer feedback, sustaining quality documentation, and delivering defect-free products while achieving zero PFG through robust quality control and continuous improvement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth functioning of all QA activities across the plant.
• Conduct timely testing of manufactured Aluminium Rods with zero pending finished goods (PFG).
• Facilitate successful customer and third-party inspections without major observations.
• Maintain and sustain quality documentation, records, and BIS compliance.
• Ensure timely calibration of testing and measuring equipment.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions based on customer feedback and inspection findings.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
• Minimize Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable standards.

Key Requirements & Skills:

• Minimum 3-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in a manufacturing environment.
• Educational Qualification- Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering
• Verification and validation of calibration certificates.
• Knowledge of Quality Core Tools (7 QC-Tools, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, SPC, MSA, etc.).
• Knowledge of Aluminium Rod manufacturing processes and product specifications.
• Understanding of Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
• Knowledge of BIS, IS standards, and quality management systems.
• Customer and Third-Party Inspection handling.
• Quality documentation and record management.
• Testing and measuring equipment management and calibration control.
